Samsung Galaxy S Duos is a budget GSM+GSM dual sim Android smartphone. The device is powered by 1GHz Cortex A5 processor with 768MB of RAM and Adreno 200 GPU. It has 4 inch TFT capacitive Touchscreen with screen resolution of 480X800 pixels and pixel density of 233 ppi pixel density. USB tethering of Samsung Galaxy S Duos: Samsung Galaxy S Duos can be used as modem to connect to internet from PC using the USB tethering feature. To enable USB tethering, follow the instruction given below.
Step 1: First enable mobile data by accessing quick access icons by swiping down from the home screen. Or you can even enable by going to Setting->More Settings->Mobile Networks->Check on the 'Use Packet data'.
Step2: Download and install the Samsung Drivers. To install the Samsung Driver, you need to download the Samsung Kies PC suite for Samsung Galaxy S Duos.
Step 3: Connect the Device to PC using the USB cable.
Step 2: Now go to Settings->More Settings->Tethering and portable hotspots->USB tethering.
Step 3: Done. You are connected to the mobile data internet of Samsung S Duos from PC.
Using Samsung S Duos as WiFi Hotspot: Samsung Galaxy S Duos as WiFi Hotspot using the WiFi tethering feature. For using the device as WiFi Hotspot, no need to install Samsung PC suite.
Step 1: Go to Settings->More Settings->Tethering and portable hotspots-> Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot. Slide to right to enable. Now tap on to Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot configure the SSID and password.
Step 2: Now your Samsung Galaxy S Duos WiFi Hotspot SSID will be accessible to any WiFi enabled devices.

hey ! I have problem of disconnection of connected device after using 1/2 hour or any timing like 45 min using internet on my on hotspot of samsung glaxy s dous .............afer that i turn off and on the hotspot not showing 1 device connected .....and its work afer turn off and on my device.............no solution without turning off-on my device........its really a big problem ............help me

ReplyDeleteI had an issue while connecting my 2 year old HP printer to my brother's laptop that I had borrowed for starting my own business. I used a quick google search to fix the problem but that did not help me.
