How to Use Nokia Lumia 525 as Modem to Connect to Internet from PC

For using this device as WiFi hotspot, you need to have active data plan and get the plan required from your mobile operator. The charges will according to your mobile data provider.- First enable the mobile data on your Lumia 525. To enable mobile data, go to Setting->mobile network. Under Data Connection, select On from the drop down.
- Now come back to the settings and go to Internet sharing.
- Slide the bar to right to enable the Internet sharing. You will see broadcast name and password. This info is required for other devices to connect to Nokia Lumia 525 WiFi Hotspot network.
How to Customise WiFi Hotspot setting on Lumia 525
- After following above steps, tap to set up.
- You can update broadcast name and password on this screen.
You are done. Now you can use your Nokia Lumia 525 as WiFi Hotspot modem.
