Motorola Moto E as modem to connect to Internet from PC
Motorola Moto E is a dual sim Android smartphone powered by 1.2GHz MSM8x10 Dual core processor with 1GB RAM. It has 4.3 inch display screen with qHD, 960 x 540 Pixels. If you want to share Moto E data with your PC, then follow steps below.- Connect your device to PC. Windows normally detects the phone and installs required drivers. If it is not done, download the required drivers from the Motorola Support page.
- Enable data on your Moto E phone.
- Then go Settings->More->Tethering & Mobile hotspot
- Enable USB tethering.
Your Moto E USB tethering will share the data with your PC. Disable USB tethering when not needed to save the data charges.
How to Use Motorola WiFi Hotspot
Creating WiFi Hotspot using Moto E is called as Moto E Wifi Hotspot. To enable WiFi hotspot of Moto E, follow the steps given below.
- Settings->More->Tethering & Mobile hotspot
- Go to Settings, and then under Wireless & networks, tap More.
- Tap Mobile network sharing.
- Tap the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot On/Off switch to turn it on.
- To setup Wi-Fi hotspot, tap to "Set up Wi-Fi Hotspot"
- Enter a SSID or use the default
- Enter a password or use the default.
- The password is the key other people need to enter on their device so they can connect and use Moto E as a wireless router.
- Tap Save to complete the configuration.
Now your Motorola Moto E works like a wireless hotpot.
How to share pc internet to mobile in MOTO E. There is an option in Kitkat version mobile to share pc internet. Setting > More > share pc Internet. But in MOTO E i cant find that option.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct. In my Moto E, there is also not that option. It must not come equipped on all phones. I must have the cheap version :(
